It's the first competition, first finals, first trophy and first honour of being a Champion. It may not be a big scale singing competition but the amount of hard work I've put in, it's all worth it. And I made it. I came through in the Semi-Finals as the last contestant to be through to the Finals. And I told myself I will not disappoint myself again in the Finals, I did it. I proved my skills and capabilities, and made my Mum really proud. Thanks Brother and Sis-in-law for coming to support me!! Some contestants are even jealous that my whole family was down there to give me their fullest support. And that was the time I felt so blessed, I've such caring and supportive family. <3

Singing in me has began as a hobby. I sing since young, but never in front of anybody. I will sing together with the music from the CDs, or even LDs. Of cos when I am bathing, the echo effect is ever so AWESOME. Then I start to go to KTVs with friends and started to think of ways to improve myself. Ways like recording my singing and then listen to the flaws so I can touch up on the weaker points, or even ask friends for opinions. Another big step was to go to KTV pubs. I know lah it's not an ideal place to hang out, but as I was interacting and gathering with friends, I sang in front of crowds in the pub. I took a big step. Now I stood up on a stage, performed and enjoyed every moment. I did my best and I got what I wanted. I will never give up on this passion. It's already a part of me. :)
