Finally able to meet up Geraldine for a kbox session. Despite the super expensive rates we still went for it. I offer to pay more, since I was the one who dated her for singing lol. We ate food inside too, so it adds up more to the amount I have to pay. But it's okay, as long as we had fun. ((:


Met up Nicole at Chinatown. Bought some bathing necessities to be brought into camp. Ate super nice Yong Tau Foo at the hawker too. Went over to Vivo for some shopping. Bought some super random things as well. We had fun chatting! &&we had super nice banana split at Ben&Jerry's. People please go and try the flavour called 'Phish Food'. It is super nice, chocolate with melted marshmallows inside. :D

OKAY suppose to be having long weekends, cos of CNY holidays. But nonetheless there's always something the officers can find to confine you, thus shortening your holidays. I got it yesterday. It was such a stupid reason to confine the whole level of my block. Total of 18 people have to stay back for another night while the rest happily went back home to RELAX. ROARS! But the bored and unhappy mood soon went off cos I was confine together with my good buddies in camp. So apparently we somehow able to make our extra night a happy one ((:




Anyway from next week onwards I will be wearing the Navy No.3 uniform, and bid goodbye to my green colour war uniform lol. I HATE GREEN ANYWAY. New uniform = white = easy dirty = must be careful = easy crumbled = always must iron. But still I like it cos it make me look smarter rather than 'chiong sua' (also known as infantry men). lol. This year's CNY preparation has been sucky. Cos I didn't have time for myself, not to say for shopping. But seriously.. I LOOKING FORWARD TO THE RED PACKETS HOHOHO! Bye!

1. Rush
I had been super busy in camp. Learning so many new things in a week. Preparing myself for the sailing ( navy calls it 'Sea Sortie' ), which lasted 2 days 2 nights. So apparently today I rushed myself like mad looking all over Bugis for CNY's clothes. &&I only manage to buy one set of new clothes LOL. ROARS!

2. Madness
In simple terms: Too much of Rushing makes me GO MAD!

3. Shag
Other people have long weekends. &I am just the few of the unlucky ones who have to report back to camp on Friday cos of duties WTF! I slept only 3 hours, the fact that I have to wake up 3am in the morning to do rounds. &my duty is one day right after sailing. how shag is shag?! I'm seriously going bonkers!

It's common sense, but some people joined navy but regretted cos they've got bad sea sickness. lol. Just came back from a short sailing trip. 2 days 2 nights. All I can say is.. it is a very good experience. I had fun. But the bad thing is.. though I am back on land for more than 24 hours, but I am still swaying left and right as if I'm on board the ship lol. wtf. Nevertheless, routine operations are tough and tiring, but one thing for sure: I have never regretted joining the Navy (:

Got duty later. YES I am very reluctant to go back but I MUST.. ROARS! Needed more time to rest though. &I'll be heading back home 8am tmr morning. Seriously I need to shop for CNY clothes.. I haven't bought any yet. GOOD GAME!! Mum gave me money to buy clothes though, cos she knows my regular salary comes only next month. SO sweet of her :D

Met Angieee YAY!! I always enjoyed her company. Today she needed mine though. Hohoho!! She wasn't really feeling good cos something happened.. &then I had lunch with her, talked to her, watched movie with her, made her laugh :D We still haven buy our slippers yet. Cos we can't decide which colour to buy lol. wtf. I shall buy my sneakers and slippers by next week YAY!


We watched Ip Man. The movie is nice. Actions are awesome. Plot's good too. &something funny happened. It sort of cock up in the middle of the movie.. the lights came out and the screen went blackout. Everyone was shock. Then suddenly it came back on again. But at the end of the show, the manager in charge told the people that they're sorry for the split blackout and asked us to keep our movie tickets, so we can use it as a complimentary ticket for a free movie till the end of the month. lol! how great was that?! LOL!


Oh and I trimmed my hair AGAIN! They're so particular about the length of your hair inside camp. So I have to waste another $10 ROARS! Though today is payday also cannot like dat waste mah ROARSx10! Angieee waited for me when Im cutting hair. So nice of her! :D We parted at around 8pm then I went over to Paradiz to meet up with J.E.D.C peeps! I miss them so so much lah. Okay apparently we planned to go for a drink, which we did, but we went off like super early. Denise left at 11pm =/ The rest of us left at before 12am? But I had fun. Cos I was able to sing 2 songs. &I didn't go out of tune, thats a good thing. I manage to sing in front of so many people o.O it's a ktv pub not room okay. People are looking at you with fierce eyes HEH!

Woke up in the morning yesterday for Navy's National Education at Fort Canning Park. Hearing probably there's only one word to describe: LAME! Apparently we played something like Amazing Race & sweat like shit, especially when we are only allowed to wear jeans. Imagine wearing jeans to that kinda place under the hot sun walking around. =/ But still, I love the peeps from my boat. (:


I went home to change to my bermudas cos the weather is really too devastating lol. &when I'm out from camp I don't really like to wear jeans, unless I've the mood or when there's really a need to. Off I go to meet Angieee at 1pm! We had this Dallas Chicken at Chinatown. It's super nice, healthier than KFC. Their Onion Rings is a must when you visit the shop. :D

We went over to town for movie. Transporter 3 is awesome. Great story great actions. And Angieee went gaga over the guy's hot body. lol. I bet she will watch it the second time lol! We had photo stickers yay! It's our hobby and we just cant resist it. The photos turn out greats :D


I enjoyed her company so much. NEXT WEEK SLIPPERS SHOPPING DATE. I won't forget! :D

Next up, dinner with Buddies. OKAY as I can remember the last time I saw some of them was like in April?! LOL. I miss them so much can! Wa liew finally got time to meet up. We had pastas, then off to a KTV pub for drinks and some singing :D

Brand new year. Complete new start of the year. 2009 somehow makes me expect more from myself. I know there's many things for me to do, for me to prove. I'll do it & I know I can do it.



This year's New Year countdown was such an impromptu one. We planned it like one hour before we met up. LOL. But I had such great fun and joy welcoming the brand new year with the girls Joyce and Jean. They're awesome. We met up at Raffles place. Took photos everywhere we go. Apparently we didn't know where to walk but WE JUST WANT TO SEE THE FIREWORKS! Somehow or rather we manage to secure a new spot somewhere in the middle of Raffles Place. I must say, we took a hell lot of nice peektures of the fireworks :D


We laughed a lot. Can't explain lah. We're just all funny people. We talked lame jokes, gossip about passerby. LOL. Anyway it was damn crowded everywhere anywhere any corner with irritating running kids to slow walking pushing old aunties. =/


We wanted the crowd to ease a little first before heading home. If not the train sure squeeze like mad.. probably we cannot even board the train lah. So we stayed back at the area to camwhore, OUR FAVOURITE HOBBY. ((:
